Factory Benelux \ Section 25 \ My Outrage [7 FBN 62]
My Outrage was issued in a limited edition of just 500 copies to mark Record Store Day in April 2013. Taken from the new album Dark Light, the track was produced by the band and remixed by collaborator Derek Miller of Outernationale. "The song is a comment on the small pleasures of the everyday," explains vocalist Beth Cassidy, "and when they run parallel to/mirror with the purely outrageous. One is just as important as the other. Outrage is the Yin to Sunday morning's Yang."
Flipside track Hinterland is exclusive to this 7" single, and will not be made available elsewhere. The cover image by Peter Saville is an extension of the cover art for Dark Light, designed by Matt Robertson of Peter Saville Studio.
A very limited number of copies remain available direct from LTM Mailorder for £5 per copy plus postage.
"Metamorphosing from the glummest, most dour group ever into progenitors of House, Blackpool's SXXV are, inevitably, one of the groups of this very post-punk moment" (Chris Bohn, The Wire)
