CD41 specialises in the supply of restored period audio recordings for film, television, radio, media and exhibition use, often (but not always) with a military theme relating to the First and Second World Wars.

We offer a wide range of music, spoken word, broadcast and actuality recordings from 1880 to 1960, sympathetically restored using modern digital technology. In addition to licensing our own sound recordings, CD41 also provides consultancy and research services, as well as advice on applicable music publishing rights.

We offer a friendly, efficient, expert and highly cost-effective service. Recent customers include the BBC, ITV, National Theatre, Imperial War Museum, National Army Museum, Pride of Britain Awards, Tate Modern and Guggenheim Bilbao, as well as a large number of independent media production companies and advertising agencies.
